‘Channel Wagtail’ M f flava × flavissima (a hybrid of Blue-headed and Yellow Wagtail) seen during a breeding bird survey at Pawlett Hams this morning.

Other migrants included Wheatear, Swifts, House Martin, Swallow, Sedge Warbler, Reed Warbler, Whitehroat and Chiffchaff.

While Yellow Wags, Lapwing, Linnet, Reed Bunting, Shelduck, Meadow Pipit and the usualy impressive choir of Skylarks, all held territory across the grazing marsh. A pair of Curlew was also potentially holding a new terrtiroy, fingers crossed.
