Yesterday there was a beautiful Male Black Redstart on the rocks at Brean Down, the same place as last year, although far less confiding.
  The flies emerging from the seaweed on the rocks attracted Stonechats, Pied Wagtails, Rock Pipits, House Sparrows and Robins.
On the Down itself I found a single Wheatear.
