Good visit to Orchardleigh this morning.  10+ sand martins; 3m wigeon; 1 pr teal; 3+prs mandarin, including 1pr high in a tree by the dam of the church pond; 1pr Teal; 6min. heron nests occupied (others may have counted more?); 5+ chiffchaff; and 30+ tufted ducks including a pair ‘treading’ mating.  Not too muddy due to last week being dry, so a pleasant circular route.
