Fabulous views of a single red kite over Bossington Lane, Porlock this afternoon at about 4pm. It circled overhead, disappeared briefly then reappeared with prey and gave great views in the area of the Exmoor bird of prey centre and Lynch House for about 20 minutes then flew over Selworthy area towards Minehead. Also of note was a large flock of gulls in the fields around bossington lane with 1 adult and 1 2nd winter Mediterranean gull.
