Don’t believe that RFF has been seen for 48 hours now. There were still 3 Hobby, red kite (2 sightings, that may have been same, or different, individuals), kestrel & buzzard in area yesterday (& another red kite was north of Tealham mid morning). Also sedge warbler & whitethroat.

N.B. one has turned up in Dorset, but I don’t know any details…

Red-footed Falcon (2nd cal yr female) still present late morning about 0.5km east of Pill Bridge on the River Yeo/Ivel west of Ilchester. Loosely associating with up to 3 Hobbys, also seen a Red Kite, Marsh Harrier, 2 Kestrels, several Buzzards, 3 Stock Doves and a Kingfisher.

From pictures on Somerset nature photography FB page, it definitely is 1st summer female (2nd Cal yr).
