I saw a single Honey Buzzard yesterday (30 July) atop a telegraph pole one mile south west of Dulverton. This confirms reported sightings in the area immediately south of the town over the last week or so.
Whilst scanning from my back garden in East Yeovil picked up a raptor high up heading north on a south north trajectory. It was a classic Honey Buzzard. Whilst having 100s on my garden list whilst living in Southern Spain this is my first for garden list in the UK.
