Three Yellowhammer and a Chiffchaff heard on an amble along Compton Street and Wood Lane late morning/early afternoon today.

First Yellowhammer of the year heard and then seen in Compton Street, Butleigh yesterday.

Most years there are numerous Yellowhammers in this location and on Wood Lane but last year numbers were well down. Hoping for a better year this year!

Also yesterday my first fledged Long Tailed Tits, at least 5 young on Wood Lane.
