Highlights of today’s visit to Greylake 18-02-2016 ,one very sleepy Ruff among five Black-tailed -Godwits,three Great-white-Egrets ,and three Buzzards, one Marsh Harrier, a rather uneventful morning ,left at approx 11-30 then on to Aller Moor see the Cranes, 22 birds in a group on Middle Moor, near Aller.
One Great-white-Egret at Catcott Lows.

16-02-2016 A cold frosty morning for the Greylake visitors ,superb light gave great photo opportunity’s, two Marsh Harriers did not disappoint coming close to the hide to pick over a carcass, a Buzzard was also a competitor for the prey, finally a Crow carried the prize to a post and picked over the remains of the Teal, good numbers of Duck took to the air as the Harriers made their frequent passes, six B-t-Godwits and small numbers of Snipe present, a Peregrine made a fast pass but did not return.
