The Tealham Short Eared Owl is still about and put in a brief appearance, Jacks Drove area at about 1900hrs tonight - later had my first Hobby of the year, hurtled past Westhay Lake Hide at dusk, must have been looking for Bats because the multitudes of Sand Martins around last week have moved on.

Came across this Short-eared Owl on Tealham Moor at about 1.00pm today in a small roadside tree, it showed no concern whatsoever for us in our stopped car - brilliant!!

A fine SEO flying highish above Aller Moor, between Aller bridge and Staithe at 10.30 today in brilliant sunshine.
