~A drake Shelduck arrived at Catcott from the east yesterday (Mon,) early p.m. Not often seen her but in fine breeding plumage. Still good numbers of Wigeon, Teal, Shoveller and a dozen Pintail with the usual small number of Tufted, Gadwall and Mallard. Plus one Blk. Wit.  Water level is just about low enough to encourage any passing early waders to drop in.
