Estimated count of around 58,000 starlings flying to roost at Allcombe Water this evening. This compares to my last count here in January 2017 of 66,000. Supporting cast of around 2,000 jackdaws, 8 ravens and a peregrine. Best viewed from public footpath at SS830403 by three gates.
