A day of changeable weather produced :

Dunkery area: 4 Cuckoos; 1 Whinchat, 3 Wheatars, 2 Ravens, 10 Golden Plover, 1 calling Curlew, 2 Grasshopper Warblers

Cloutsham/Stoke Pero: 1 Wheatear, 1 Stonechat

Horner Woods: 2 Dippers, 1 Redstart, 7 Pied Flycatchers, 4 Wood Warblers, 2 Marsh Tits, 1 Grey Heron

East Water: 1 Wood Warbler - heard from car

Chetsford Water:1 Kestrel, 2 Cuckoos, 3 Whinchats, 1 Grasshopper Warbler, 3 Mistle Thrush (1 missing its tail)

Webber’s Post: 2 Buzzard, 2 Cuckoos

Very few hirundines around just a few Swallows at Cloutsham Farm.

A very hard days birding in less than ideal conditions but still a wonderful place.
