Three red kites following tractor for over an hour in a field near Evercreech this morning

Red kite in Mark on 25th, over Kingsway, flying north at midday.

Red Kite over Acnridge Ny-pass, midday 27th May.

Red Kite on Kennard Moor first thing this morning.

One high over Bridgwater at around 12.30 today, also moving east.

In the mist and gloom this morning, at least 5, on the coast at Kilve, slowly drifting east.

One flying east over Wookey Hole Saturday 2.15pm.

A pair travelling north over the River Parrett towards Othery from Saltmoor this pm. Accompanied by rooks and jackdaws as usual.

Just East of the Huntspill sea sluice this lunchtime I saw 10 very distant, what I took to be buzzards, circling over Steart marsh, but 5 minutes later, around 12.45, 6 red kites passed over me from that direction, heading roughly north/north-east.

Single Red Kite over fields at Avishayes, Chard 23/05/2018. Cut grass was being collected and there was a flock of rooks, three buzzards and the Kite. I have a few - long distance - photographs.
Really pleased to see this bird. I’ve been praying they would come ‘down here’ ever since we moved to Chard in April last year. Back in Northamptonshire we had two pairs operating over our town (Thrapston) every day, often saw up to 10 on many days. Once 60 plus roosting in a wood nearby. Now I just want more….

A single Red kite drifting over Williton about 1500h`rs toward Sampford Brett Beautiful in the sun shine!

Spectacular display of aerobatics from 4 red kites and 6 buzzards following a power harrow right next to us at the top of Broad Lane, East Chinnock.  We could not have had a better view as they flew.  At one point I had three on the ground in the sights of my scope. Awesome!

Red Kite flushed from road kill on Wood Lane, Butleigh this morning.

3 Red Kites over Crowcombe Heathfield station at 17:15 on 17th May. Circling on thermals with 1 Buzzard.1 bird then came quite low over the houses.

2 Red Kites (presumably 2 of the above) seen from the A358 between Crowcombe and Bicknoller circling with a group 4 Buzzards at 12:30.

2 Red Kites over Frome centre this morning ~8.20am - early on a cold morning for soaring raptors!
