The warblers were out in force today in spite of the weather - good numbers of Cetti’s and Willow Warblers as well as Blackcaps and Chiffchaffs. Also a single Whitethroat at VP1 and a Reed Warbler singing on the approach to Tor View. Over 100 Sand Martins were feeding, as well as a small group of Swallows and a Common Tern was also present. A highlight was three Water Rails viewable from Tor View and the approach track.
