Walk around Westhay this afternoon produced two Jack Snipe on the raised bog, three Red Headed Goosanders and a few Siskin on London Drove . At the end of London Drove at the junction with the tarmaced road the field with the cattle below Roger Wiikins farm had a Cattle Egret feeding with fifteen Little Egrets and a G.W.E. , on the way back stunning views of a female Marsh Harrier with very bold plumage, not bad for January roll on the spring!
