Seven Great White Egrets were socialising for want of a better word on Catcott today, one of which was the locally bred ,2016 ringed bird ( RED AAF).  It is noticeable that there was a lack of the usual antagonism that’s quite often shown when birds drive others off their feeding areas. Early pairing up behaviour perhaps? Leg colour appears to be darkening on some of them. 
The Chiloe Wigeon was still present today.
