A female Merlin on Tealham Moor 1100hrs this morning, sat on top of one of the Hawthorn Trees on the South side of the Road. Also several Kestrels, Stonechats and two flyover GWE’s heading towards Westhay.
I saw a merlin from my bedroom window this morning. It flew low along the road for 150 meters before darting over a gate between tall hedges. It was the first one I have seen in Spaxton this winter which is unusual as they are usually quite regular here.
Sorry for the late addition but I saw a Merlin in an Oak Tree near Hambridge early on Sunday (08/10) morning
See here: Merlin
Along Bridgwater canal, yesterday, buzzed a Moorhen.
