02-11-201 A heavy mist hung over Noah’s lake this morning when I arrived but despite the mist bird life was not lacking,Bitterns were very active with some seven fly pasts seen, Water rail, Moorhens, G-w-Egret, Heron and little Egrets fishing close by, Kingfisher was very obliging, one juvenile Marsh Harrier was seen on several occasions patrolling around the lake, it was the flock of Coots that were the point of interest, suddenly for no apparent reason large groups started to run about the lake, stopping and then starting again as if in a panic, they finally disappeared from view to the other half of the lake.
