We have had several hundred enjoying a rich harvest of berries on Withycombe Common, since we returned from Iran last Friday the 28th. Incidentally Iran was not much good for birdwatching, we were plainly in the wrong place.

Flocks of up to 200 passing over Black Down this afternoon. No sign of the eagle though.

My first winter thrushes of the autumn in the County were 30 Fieldfares (12+18) flying south over Tealham Moor this late afternoon.
