The Great Grey Shrike was seen again this morning just into Ember Combe off Chetsford Water before the fog came down. Showing down to just a few metres - per Robert Richardson.
A Great Grey Shrike this morning on Great Hill on the north side of Chetsford Water (opp Ember Combe). It appeared briefly on top of a hawthorn before flying off low to the north. From the bottom of the Combe it was impossible to see how far it went. Note this is the Exmoor Great Hill not the Quantock one where a shrike was present last winter - all very confusing!
