14-Oct-2016 (mid-afternoon)

At least 8 very active (feeding & flying short distances) Bearded Tits opposite and east of the viewing-platform on Dagg’s Lane Drove. That’s the drove that runs due north from the car park.

Can anyone please offer guidance/directions to the Island Hide. I have probably visited Westhay Moor twice in about a decade! Many thanks, John

From the main car park at the south end of Daggs Lane Drove, walk north up the Drove and the Island hide is down the boardwalk on the right a short way past the disabled parking bay on the left.

Thanks for the information Jeff .I hope this has been helpful to members of the SOS. I forgot to mention a very attractive female Bearded Tit ,nicely marked, dark markings on the crown of its head and back , is this also a transitional plumage.
