Pectoral Sandpiper was still present at 14:30 at least, showing well from southern bank. It spent a lot of time on stony spit & probably not viewable from layby.

No sign of the Pec Sand late afternoon, but both a redshank and greenshank ended up moving too close to the near bank to see from the layby, so it may still be there. GW egret still there.

Waders present Sunday morning were 3 Greenshank, 3 Common Sandpiper, 1 Dunlin and 1 Ruff. The Great White Egret was still on site , as were 2 Great Black-backed Gulls.
At nearby Hawkridge res. a Hooded Merganser was presumably on a day trip out from the local wildfowl collection !!.

A delayed WeBS count this morning paid off with a Pectoral Sandpiper feeding with 3 Common Sandpipers about halfway along the north side almost opposite the concrete inlet channel. Also 2 Knot, 2 Ruff, 9 Black-tailed Godwit, 3 Greenshank and a Dunlin.
The colour-ringed juvenile Great White Egret from the Avalon Marshes was also back again after being missing for a few days.
