Two flighty Yellow Wags early am on 25/4 in the vicinity of the roadside flash - one identified as a male “flavissima”. The only other migrants of note were an LRP on the flash and a Whinchat on a post in the middle of the moor.  There was onky a trickle of Swallows passing through, and four Cattle Egrets.

Later a pair of Red Kites seen from the road just north of Shapwick village.

The Channel wagtail type just east of the roadside flash Friday afternoon (24th), and the smart blue-headed on the dry flash on Tealham Moor Drove.

Yellow wagtails present this afternoon at the ‘scrape’ (two males and one female) but keeping low profile due to the wind.  Pair wheatears also feeding.

Looked for hard, but no sign of any Yellow Wags on Tealham Moor this morning (17-Apr). However did see 8 Wheatears, mostly pairs, a smart male Whinchat and a Common Whitethroat. Also 2 male Marsh Harriers flying close to each other.
