It was actually 92, which were earlier on the camel estuary in Cornwall, but haven’t been seen since. Closer to home, 96 have been split between chew and blagdon, with another 7 at cheddar.

One circled over Minehead this morning at 10 a.m. for about 2 minutes before appearing to be landing around Butlin’s Lake area. This follows a reliable report of 7 together flying over Minehead early morning on the 27th. of August.

An incredible 91 Glossy Ibises were seen yesterday from a River Dart boat trip. Linked to climate change these increased numbers is attributed to their rapidly expanding breeding population in Europe like Spain and France and drier summers and milder winters and the birds we are seeing now are young birds dispersing northwards after breeding.
