A lone Red Kite flew north over the A361 at West Pennard at c.13:30 hrs this afternoon. Seen on our way home from Torr Reservoir where no sign of the Barnacle Geese but a pair of Oystercatchers on the island.
Then a trip to a car wash to get our cars underside clear of a mix of mud & cows-muck after driving the mucky access track. Normaly park at the farm jct and walk but too far for Kay.

8 Red Kites following a Tractor between Westhay and Panborough

Another kite over Kingston St Mary yesterday evening and a further one over central Taunton this evening.

At least 5 red kite over silage field being harvested this afternoon between Shapwick and Catcott.

Low over the Lamb & Flag, Blagdon Hill, on Sunday.
