Saw the 2cy (1st-summer) male Monty’s at RSPB Greylake this morning. Two sightings: 11:30 & 12:00 hrs from the main hide, firstly looking NW and then looking N where it was hunting over the fields just outside the reserve boundary, below the Polden Ridge. It was also reported again, just after I had left, at 12:45 hrs. Also reported on the 12th just west of the reserve on Lang Moor (near Westonzoyland). Has been present now for 2 wks, since the 1st sighting at Greylake on 1st May.
Not easy to see, this was my 4th attempt taking 10 hrs in total.
