Group of c.40 sand martin moving quickly through Catcott Lows at 2020 hrs this evening.

Four immature yellow wagtail with cattle near the Breach screens at WWT Steart this afternoon. 100 or so swallows between Steart village and Otterhampton, hawking and perched on wires and fences.

Swallows have been trickling through on migration over Coleford early mornings since 2nd July. Yesterday I saw my first migrating House Martins. Quite a few of the local Swifts have evidently departed already.
