It’s very possible, I photographed one at Ham Wall 09-07-2011, Mr Jerry Hawkins identified it and it was later confirmed and recorded on Somerset records, NB photo is of a very mature specimen.

Apparently, one was seen flying around the car park earlier in the week, per a reply on Twitter.

One, poss 2, this morning from the raised boardwalk leading to the new Island Hide at Westhay NNR. Good flight-views thro’ bins, but didn’t perch.
