This morning after the rain, 2 male yellow wagtails and 5 white wags on the west side. 100+ sand martins there with 3-4 swallows. 6 Goosanders south of Cheddar Tower.  The young kittiwake by the Tower near a moribund black-headed gull. Sparrowhawk flew over and a singing reed bunting near the rugby pitch. RC Pochard sleeping on the sailing club pontoon!

Time for a new thread? Immature kittiwake again this morning feeding along the west side. Also 2 white wagtails on the pontoon in front of the sailing club. A GBB gull on the water flew off south. Yesterday my first common sandpiper of the year here. And the Cetti’s warbler heard again.
