No sign of the floodwater going down, no sign of the Whooper Swans this morning, however a good count of 395 Canada Geese , only other birds of note were a small flock of Shelduck. No sign of any Whooper Swans at Southlake Moor either- possible because this was largely frozen over !! .

Flood gates closed and extensive flooding as far as you can see ! 2 adult Whooper Swans with c100 Mutes just past the flood gates at the Lyng end plus 3 Egyptian Geese, on the flood to the left of the road 2 Goldeneye visible with a scope . No sign nearby at Southlake Moor of the White-fronted Goose but the group of 6 Whooper swans still present as well as c100 Dunlin and 30 Black-tailed Godwits.
