A Hen Harrier is special enough I know but in view of the recent Montagu’s at Seaton I would think that all white-rumped Harriers would be worth a specially close second look at the moment.
A ringtail was hunting over 70 acres in Shapwick this morning as I walked towards the scrape. When I returned 30 minutes later it was seen again over Meare Heath first scrape and I met Steve Hughes who had also seen it in Ham Wall.
