At sunrise on Kennard Moor this morning, from the Coxbridge end, walking towards the Glastonbury end, I had the sun rising behind me and a full moon ahead of me
on a stunningly beautiful morning with that gorgeous chill in the air first thing. What a way to start your day ... before the heat sets in!

Lots of small flocks of Goldfinch & Linnet all over the moor. - Must be 200. Should be some spectacular larger flocks in the next week or two when they all join up.
