Single Red Kite drifting east to west over Chipstable, 3pm today (17Apr22)

One missing several tail feathers near the Hunters lodge Inn at priddy this afternoon.

Red kite over Dunster Beach 1400 hrs.

Excellent view of a Red Kite in flight over Skilgate, 12noon 20/3/22 made off in general direction of Haddon Hill & Wimbleball Lake

Red Kite in our field at Hastings, South Somerset.  Was being chased by three buzzards and a crow.

Yesterday, by the Ring’O'Bells Pub, being mobbed by crows.

Saw the Steart bird fly over Burnham Road in Highbridge at about half 11 and saw the Combwich bird fly over Pawlett Hams at about 15:15, both heading eastwards still.

Also had a Merlin on a fence post at Pawlett Hams, and a Little Grebe nearby in the River Parrett.

Good numbers of Black-tailed Godwit and Avocet next to the Hunstpill Seawall with c.25 Grey Plover also in area. No Wheatears today though!

We had a single red kite this afternoon over Marsh farm about 1500hrs going toward Combwich!

11.00 this morning (19th) a Red Kite passed low over the garden (Manor Farm) and continued NE over the fields, passing right in front of the Tower Hide (no one there!) before turning slightly and seemed to cross the river by Burrnham marina.  Clearly migrating.  Wonderful in the bright sunshine.
