It certainly was not a Canary. Jizz and size identical to accompanying Chaffinches and Brambling.

Present beneath my feeders in Stogumber on Friday accompanied by a Brambling and Chaffinches.
An overall pale yellow finch (xanthomorphic?) but with almost white flight feathers and slight brown horizontal barring on back of neck cf Brambling. Bill and legs horn coloured, eye dark, Size and behaviour similar to accompanying birds.
