Apparently the Kentish was ringed in Germany 14th June 2021. Showed even better today until mid afternoon on the point near the sailing club (after only being seen on stert island yesterday). Also greenshank & 60 turnstones roosting along the parrett, although the greenshank was later near main slipway with several hundred dunlin & smaller numbers of redshank, plus a few curlew (Avocet again on the island)
Kentish performed nicely on beach all morning today (unusually), also a greenshank (& avocets on the other side), but only the rosybill, 2 Canadas & a moorhen with mallard at Apex, plus a couple of LBB amongst the BH & herring gulls.
Getting to that time of year where interesting stuff can turn up, so visited this afternoon - the rosybill (Pochard) is still present & 2 small groups of greylag, otherwise a mixed bag of mallard, one GC grebe, a moorhen, BH, herring & LBB gulls. (Don’t think the Kentish plover has been reported again since last mention in one of steart posts, but was wrong time today - low tide)
