The Bean Goose was still present this morning (Wednesday) near where the north drain crosses the Tealham road. No sign of a Whitefront but I was treated to a raptor fest. Firstly a ringtail Hen Harrier flew across the moor before heading south towards the pumping station. Then 10 minutes later, a Peregrine put up the Lapwings and gulls on the flooded fields before interacting with a passing Marsh Harrier! A single Common Buzzard was sitting on a gatepost watching the action.

There was also a single greylag hanging out with another group of swans

Single bird still, feeding near 4 Mute Swans at western end of Tealham Moor, near road bridge over the South Drain, present for its 2nd day.
