Number of Whoopers on Curry Moor as viewed from the lay-by was 12 this lunchtime.  11 adults and 1 juv

Still 7 Whooper Swans on Curry Moor, easily viewed from small pull-in near railway bridge with c50 Mutes, also another 6 Whoopers on floodwater next to the railway bridge at Stathe

Distant view of seven long-necked bugling swans, presumably the seven Whoopers, flying east on Hay Moor, (south of Curry Moor) mid-morning today. They were on the section of the Moor west of Moor Lane but headed east.

Whooper swans still there late afternoon, but distant. 46 crane flew over and a barn owl was seen quartering the bank of the River Sowey.

Seven Whoopers on Middle Moor (west-north-west of Oathe) this morning. Also five Cranes on Aller Moor
