Regular Blackcap in the garden seen today. Just a male so far.

Like wise.  2 Female Blackcaps eating seeds from a Torbay Palm in my garden in Bishop’s Hull near Taunton. This is now an annual occurrence.

Our ‘regular’ winter Blackcap returned to the garden this morning.

It is surprising just how many wintering blackcaps arrive each winter. At least 30 different individuals have come to my garden since the 1st November this year , of which two have been returning birds from November 2017 and 2018.

Upto 4 Blackcaps Males and Females in my garden in Bishop’s Hull Taunton.  Mainly feeding on seeds from a Torbay Palm tree.  This has been the same in previous years.

A male in my Butleigh garden this morning, enjoying the last of the windfall apples.

First one to visit the garden feeder (Ilminster) today - male. Usually have at least two throughout the winter.
