4 Whinchats on Tealham moor this morning, 3 seen from Totney Drove and 1 from Tealham Moor Drove.
I got spectacular views of the Pale/Light morph buzzard about 10 metres away. I’ve seen this bird about 4 times now. This morning he was on a gate post at Tealham Moor. I was at an awkward angle to get a decent photo but as expected as I opened my car door it took off. He circled above my head 3 times. He has no melanisation, his breast plumage is completely white with speckled neck and head and has a finely banded tail.
