29 Whimbrels still there at 12.30pm today, they had moved away from the tractor and were in fields closer to the Westhay reserve. Also, Cuckoo and bittern on the reserve.
06-05-2021.
The Whimbrels were still present early this morning until the tractor driver returned to continue rotovating the fields ,they then flew off.

A 54 strong flock of Whimbrel is still present on fields just to the east of the Westhay Moor Carpark on the south side of the road.
About 4.45 this afternoon, 2 flocks of Whimbrel low over London Drove, 42 and later on 15 (so could have been part of the 42). 5 hobbies (4 seen together, so definitely different), many hundreds of swallows plus all the regulars.
