A Red Kite passed northeast over the fields and NNR at c. 10.00 this morning (22/04/21) - presumably a different bird.

Quick visit to Steart this afternoon ,Very quiet & dry, birds of note Red kite x 1 being mobbed by crows Otterhampton ,Spoonbill x 1,kestral, x 1,avocet most numerous from Quantock hide. dung heap just outside Steart village Yellow wagtail x 1 male, wheatear x 1 female, pied wagtail x 3.
