a mix of Sand and House Martins this morning along with Several Swallow,around 50 birds in total, 7 mute swan and 2 commond sand piper

2 common sandpipers in southwest corner late yesterday afternoon. Also hundreds of sand martins and some swallows. About 15 shovelers still flying around.
Little Gull flew past me near the Yacht club this morning. Also 30+ Sand Martin and my first Swallow on the other side. Great Spotted Woodpecker heard drumming and about 8 singing Chiffchaff in the surrounding countryside.

Didn’t see any pintail later, but the little grebe was trying to socialise with the shoveler & a pair of goosander.
11 Pintail with the Shoveler flock this morning and the 1w Little Gull still present. A male Red-crested Pochard seen on Sat 20th seems to have moved on.
