A female Merlin went past the screen around midday. Had a really good go at Stockland Marsh but the teal didn’t seem to have moved there. Best were 16 Blackwit. Also a Dunlin on Otterhampton Marsh and a Wheatear near the hide.

Message from Dick who has no internet connection. The Blue-winged Teal was not seen this morning between 07:30 and 09:00 despite being looked for.

Steart Marsh. A drake Blue-winged Teal present 29/03 in the lagoon to the north of the breach at ST 278 453. Park in the NE car park marked on OS maps at ST 275 459 and walk down the drove to the screen overlooking the lagoon.
