At least three Phyllos warblers in my Muchelney garden yesterday afternoon, must have been quite an influx yesterday?
50+ Wheatear sheltering in the grass. Just one between Wall and Stolford Common, along the strand.
But 150+ chiffchaffs and Willow Warblers in the bushes. The majority chiffs. Also a handful of swallows and house martins plus 2 sands.
Also on Wall 25 linnets, stonechats and one Short Eared Owl.
Whilst waiting in vain for an owl to show, a Red Kite flew over the common and across the reserve from SE to NW. You may find a pic here. https://www.flickr.com/photos/lizzardman606/25923745540/in/datetaken/
Or it may not work.
