Rock Pipit on quay this morning 8:30. Raven over the garden again. Buzzard at Culvercliff seems to have found a friend. Haven’t seen any Blackcaps or Black Redstarts after the cold snap.
Robins, Song Thrushes, Coal Tits, Chaffinches etc singing along path to Culvercliff.

Loose ‘murmuration’ of over 200 Rooks, probably from Dunster Marsh rookery, over the bay and landing densely packed on the foreshore in front of Quay Inn before sunrise over several days. Black Redstart on sea wall Quay Street. Little Egret in usual pool on beach in front of pub. Not seen Med Gull for over a week now. Small flock, 7 or 8 Redwing stripped Holly berries over several days. Sparrowhawk over garden twice. Male Blackcap in garden. Several Oyster Catchers on the shore as usual.

Seems Bella blew the BLACK REDSTART from the roofs behind the Quay Inn. Hadn’t seen it since then. But found it? by the quay again 8.00am. BLACKCAP still in garden (at least the male) Also for first time in 6 years we’ve been at this address several REDWINGS in garden next door. MEDITERRANEAN GULL still with BHGs beyond Ship Aground. Party of over 10 LONG-TAILED TITs foraging in garden too

Dull morning scan of evergreen garden shrubs and leafless plum tree and roofs from my vantage point behind Quay Inn - male and female Blackcap tugging at ivy berries; Great, Blue and Coal Tits and probably same Black Redstart bobbing along roof ridge next door.
