2 Berwick swans grazing with Mutes in field south of the S bend before the Westhay car park viewed from ST445433 approx. 9.05am today
This afternoon, all 3 Bewicks together on the flooded fields to the east of the road. For me, hard to find in amongst the Mute Swans, even though the Bewicks are smaller!
Also large number of starlings and gulls in the same area.
And still there this morning, though east of road again, longest staying Bewicks for many years.
Two adults plus one socially distancing again back on Hay Moor, but west of Langport - Muchelney road this morning.
Where were they last Sunday for their WeBS census?
Wet Moor this morning, 3 adults (pair plus detached singleton) as per Hay Moor on the 4th - same birds.
Also several thousand Wigeon, Teal, Shoveler, Pintail. 30 Shelduck and 200 CG.
Single Bewickâs seen on edge of Wet Moor & Whit Moor today with a large group of Canada Geese.
Picture on Twitter.
All 3 on far side of Wet Moor by River Yeo this afternoon.
No sign at 12:00 today, approx 25 Mute Swans, 8 Cormorants & 2 Little Egrets. Road now open.
3 adults on flood water close east of Langport - Muchelney road and easily viewable from there.
