Thanks Paul

New Road was closed because of flooding so I couldn’t park at New Bridge (though I did sit down and have my lunch there!), I ended up parking at Curload.

Is there a best spot to start from/explore at Curry Moor? The site guides I’ve seen don’t give much information….

7 Whooper swans on Curry Moor this morning, c1000 ducks mainly Wigeon/Teal plus Pintail, Gadwall, Shoveler and the odd Pochard. Largely froze over at dawn , c 35 Pied Wagtails, a Grey Wagtail and 8 Stonechats feeding on flood debris on the road. Large areas of floodwater at Stathe and Southlake Moor.
