24/11/20202 - Fabulous views at lunchtime of some of the 14 Whooper Swans now on Hay Moor. 7 in flight (2 Adults 5 Juvs) then landing and 4 on the ground (2 Adults & 2 Juvs)

Flooding from start of October seems to have subsided. Saw more roe deer than birds on Aller Moor!
Couple of big flocks of lapwing around greylake, & another at Catcott.
Lots of wigeon & shoveler at Catcott, with a few mallard, teal & mute swans, plus 2 greylag.
15 little & 1 great egret in field between westhay & burtle.
A SE owl was seen at tealham, but just 2 great egrets & a confiding kestrel, when I was there.
