At 7-45 this morning a fair number of sand martins arrived at Hankridge as I was walking back from Sainsburys. They were flying to and fro between the river and the railway line and gradually moving upstream towards Creech Castle.

Just a single Sand Martin today over Ham Wall at 1530 , heading north

Some at Ham wall yesterday too. Over the car park and over the 1st viewing platform in the morning. Just 3 or 4 but it’s a start!

Two possibly three Sand Martins were over Noah’s Lake yesterday Mon. 14th. a.m. : first for me for this year
