No sign of the Lapland Bunting at high tide this afternoon, but at least 205 Avocets flying down the river towards Steart Island was a wonderful sight. Also one Light-bellied Brent Goose on island.

Wow… something happened this afternoon that never happens to me! I found a rare bird!
A Lapland Bunting, and the first time I’ve ever seen one!
